Audio-Visual Materials, 1955-1974.

This series contains reel-to-reel and audiocassette tapes, motion picture film (mostly 16mm black and white), and phonograph recordings of speeches, commencements, and interviews with McGee on radio and television programs and in the Senate Recording Studio. The topics of the speeches and interviews cover a wide range of topics including labor relations, communism, foreign policy, and U.S. involvement in Vietnam. Also included is a reel-to-reel audiotape and 16mm film of a speech by John F. Kennedy at the University of Wyoming in Laramie in September 1963.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy was born on May 29, 1917, to Joseph P. Kennedy and Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy of Brookline, Massachusetts.
